In September on a motor show in Paris company Renault will present concept car DeZire – an electromobile with middlemotor body layout. Shape of this novelty developed Lawrence van den Aker – the new chief-designer Renault which has passed in the French company from “Mazda”.
Renault DeZire is constructed on the basis of a spatial frame of steel tubes on which it is hung cevlar body. As a result, the car weighs only 830 kgs, and the 148-strong electromotor disperses it to hundred kilometres per hour for five seconds.
Cruising range of a novelty with the batteries completely charged lithium-ionic makes about 160 kilometres. And the 80 percent level of accumulators by means of technology Renault Quick Drop occupy only 20 minutes.
According to representatives Renault, this concept should provide guidance on volume, in what direction the design of cars of the French mark the next years will develop. In particular, the following generation Renault Clio will receive registration of a front part of the body, executed in style Renault DeZire.
Besides, some experts assume that this kontsept-compartment can appear a prototype of a new sport car which Renault in the future will start under mark Alpine. However, officially this information does not prove to be true yet.
